Have you ever researched cooking with flax? My understanding is that the oil in it is super delicate and can go rancid easily creating free radicals etc. I have heard that you should only use it in cold applications. Let me know your thoughts.

I don’t know much about it. I have flax oil, but have only ever used it to make salad dressing. It’s the only oil I store in the fridge.
Just FYI if you have an electric coffee grinder, that will easily and quickly grind up your whole flax seeds. I store mine in the freezer until I need them to avoid the oils from going rancid (along with all the nuts and seeds we eat or cook with.) I didn’t realize you could substitute them for eggs, thanks for the info.
