Menu for the week of 27 FEB 2012
Here’s the menu for my family for the week of February 27th. This Thursday marks St. David’s Day in the U.K.
The “rules” of our household diet can be found in the tab above labeled Hallee’s Galley and further explained in Our Diet.
I usually serve leftovers for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends. One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.
Almost all of the breads are homemade using fresh milled flour. I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them. Our daily bread is Whole Wheat Honey Oatmeal Bread.
Here’s the menu for my family for the week of February 27th. As far as desserts go, Friday is my 40th birthday! So, I’m hoping that there’s something chocolate in my future.

Your menu sounds delicious. I came across your blog through the MPM link and was excited to see you have the same birthday as me. Happy birthday on Friday!
Happy birthday to you, too!
You are cooking on your birthday? – go out for dinner!! :-) Go Friday and Saturday! ;-) You only live once!
We typically go to Melting Pot or something else fancing like that twice a year (hubby bday and mine). I know that may not be fancy to some, but for our little town, that is the only nice restaurant around cuz when you get to our age, Denny’s and McDonalds are not evenings out though the kids would think it is. Actually I take that back, we have a nice steak/seafood house in town as well.
Oh how I love eggplant parm! Happy Birthday to you this week!
Kaylee’s favorite place to go is the Melting Pot. We’ll likely take her on her birthday (just a little over a week from mine.)
