I have a window above my kitchen sink.

When the weather is frightful, as it was this day,

I actually enjoy standing at my sink doing dishes.

I have a heating vent right where I stand, and the warm air blows right on my cold toes.

Unless, of course, I have to battle the dog for the heat.

She usually wins.
