Shamrock Cupcakes
These cupcakes are so much fun for the kids to make for St. Patrick’s Day. They’ll look festive decorating any holiday spread you put together for this festive and green day.
Make your favorite kind of cake batter. I used my Yummy Yellow Cake recipe.
Take glass marbles or beans (I used the marbles from a Mancala game and kidney beans – the beans worked but the marbles worked better) and place them between the pan and the cupcake liner in order to mold the liner. Start with two kind of close together to form the stem.
Then put two more to form the shamrock leaves.
Bake according to the recipe directions. (I baked these at 350° degrees F for 20 minutes).
Frost with butter cream frosting and decorate however you wish.

those are so neat!
Fantastic Idea!!!
What a great idea. I never thought to use beans to mold a cupcake before. It sure beats spending more money on those fancy cupcake molds.
