Menu for the week of Monday, 15 February 2010
The “rules” of our household diet can be found in the tab above labeled Hallee’s Galley and further explained in Our Diet.
I usually serve leftovers for lunch the next day, or we’ll save them during the week to graze lunch on the weekends. One meal a week, we eat whatever we want. This is usually our “Dinner Out” meal.
Almost all of the breads are homemade using fresh milled flour. I’ll continue to link to my recipes as I post them.
Here’s the menu for my family for the week of Monday, 15 February 2010. As far as desserts go, we’re going to make Olympic Ring and possibly various winter sports sugar cookies!
steak, baked potato, green beans, green salad
chicken with roasted red peppers and basil pesto over homemade fetuccini (recipe to follow), green salad,French bread
Wednesday (Catholic Lent Begins):
I cook dinner for my church on Wednesday nights. I usually feed 40-50 people. Tonight’s dinner is beef stew, cornbread, grilled cheese sandwiches, green salad, and pineapple upside down cake.
Chicken Pot Pie, green salad
ground lamb in Whole Wheat Pita Bread (recipe to follow), homemade hummus (recipe to follow), Greek salad
Summer Squash Chowder, sandwiches
