Tasty Turnips with Turnip Greens

Posted by Hallee on Jan 1, 2010 in Hallee's Galley, Holiday fare, Recipes, sides

I don’t add meat to my greens. I love the flavor of the vegetable to be its primary flavoring. I always get compliments on how good they are.

Posted by Hallee on Jan 1, 2010 in American Quisine, entrees, Hallee's Galley, Holiday fare, Recipes

Our family always eats black eyed peas for New Year’s Day dinner. Because we don’t eat pork, we use a smoked turkey leg. It is a WONDERFUL substitution.
