I understand. I’ve gotten lax on the self-discipline of going to bed on time. When I do that, getting up early and clearing out a chunk or work is never a problem. When I’m bleary eyed the whole day is shot before it even starts. I wish you the best of luck trying out your new schedule.
Oh, I just loved reading this post. I now know that it’s not just me. I hosted Thanksgiving for 40 people, and last week started getting everything organized for Christmas…….basically taking a 2 week break from homeschool. This week we are hitting the books hard core, and hopefully will catch up a bit. It’s so frustrating. I so needed to hear what you said in this post today. I need to prioritize my time a little better as well. I hope your new schedule works out well for you!
btw, i just want to give you a HUGE pat on the back b/c i don’t know HOW you do it with Gregg gone for so long! I’m sure after a while you adjust, but my husband has been working so much that it feels like I never see him, yet he is home every night. I just give you major kudos for doing what you do!!
Hope the new schedule works for you. It seems like there are never enough hours in the day!
Oh honey! I feel the stress in your words… first let me just say, the blog isn’t nearly as important as those kids!! Remember that when planning your schedule.
Also, can you get a teen to come an afternoon or two a week for the next couple weeks? This will give you a bit of time to accomplish things without the kiddos. I say, “teen” because they are cheao labor. LOL!
Thanks for this post, I had no idea all that was going on while you were listening to me on Sunday about all my busyness! Praying for you this week!
Oh hunny!! ((BIG HUG)) Wish we were local so I could drop off some diapers, bread and milk! Don’t be afraid to ask for help – being sick with sick kids while hubby is away is TOUGH!
And don’t worry about your schedule until next week – just try to relax and get better!
OH – and we readers love you – We’ll wait until you are better! :)
Prayers for healing,
Ann Marie
Get Well Soon! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Wow! At first I thought I was reading a chapter out of my own life. In just two days we are packing into the car and driving clear across the country. I know it gets crazy. I hope you guys feel better soon, we got hit by the bug a couple days ago!
If you have a chance, stop by my Tackle-It Tuesday and say hi!
Oh geez! I feel your pain. I’m exhausted too and this week is pretty much a wash for me too.
