I made this today because I am still looking for “the perfect” recipe. I used brown sugar, coarse cornmeal, stone ground whole wheat f lour, and followed the recipe except I found I only had one egg so used 4 oz. applesauce. Then I heated a cast iron skillet and baked it in that. We all loved it.
