A Tigger-Iffic Time

My son, Scott, is quite ill, so I’ve been a little occupied the last few days. In fact, zucchini is still taking over my counter top. So, I’ve not written anything or blogged about anything today. HOWEVER, my amazing and awesome husband has spent hours on this blog, adding categories and pages and colors and just making it pretty. So, look around and you’ll see some things you haven’t seen before. In doing so, he’s handed me a to-do list, as well, so our little work in progress is very rapidly progressing.

Looking through my Facebook pictures, I found a photo essay I did about a week ago. I thought I’d share it it since I don’t have a lot of free time today.

Scott helps me cook all the time. He’s very adept at putting premeasured ingredients into the mixer bowl, whisking eggs, holding a teaspoon while I pour vanilla into it, etc. The more I let him do, the better he gets at doing it. He’s become my right-hand man in the kitchen which is great because I’m a lefty.

Making room in my fridge for a plethora of cucumbers last week, I found some leftover butter cream icing in white, purple and orange. I remembered some Winnie the Pooh sprinkles I’d found on a clearance rack at the kitchen store and discovered that the colors were perfect to match the frosting. So, I whipped up a batch of Devil’s Food Cupcakes and handed Scott a knife and the sprinkles and let him go to town with them.

Mommy, please quit making me look at the camera. I'm a little busy at the moment.
